I have ran into some people who have said "What's so bad about a One World Government?". So i'm asking here, do you want a One World Government? and why?

Are you concerned about the efforts to create a One World Government?
You should be.
There is definitely a group of people (commonly called the “elite”) who are intent on creating this New World Order.
Many of them refer to the New World Order as a “utopian” society.
However, this is misleading because they don’t always disclose who will be living in a “utopian” way.
The “fruits” of life will go to the wealthy elite. The “common” people will be nothing but work slaves or outright chained up slaves.
Yes, that’s the future we have to look forward to unless radical change is made to the current political/world events tide.
As you attempt to understand the One World Government idea, there are specific groups that you need to be aware of and pay attention to. Through groups that are right out in the open, the elite work tirelessly toward a totalitarian future.
"The death of democracy is not likely to be an assassination from ambush. It will be a slow extinction from apathy, indifference, and undernourishment." - Robert M. Huchins

One Big Global Empire...it will mean hell on Earth for 95% of all people. And the CFR /Bilderberg/Trilateral members are doing a fine job of steering us in that direction.

Glad to get a reply so quick and thanks for the warm welcome. I'm in Montreal and a member of Montreal 9/11 Truth, in the fight for the long haul. We are all together in this! Now ....let's ponder the irony of Canadian and American citizens being united against the NAU. Shouldn't our Continent-wide solidarity and united stance against the North American Union cause a tear in the space-time-continuum or something?
I do try to keep a sense of humor. If George Carlin taught the world anything, it's that it's okay to laugh at serious shit.

Society at large still needs to be convinced that it would be a threat to live under one government for all.
Even the media that are looking into things get caught up in trivial pursuits.
The problems that accumulate through years of negligence only get everybody confused over the consequences but nobody really looks for the causes out there.
The importance of the problem is measured by the fact that the people now think that there is absolutely nothing they can do without government approval.
I am not afraid of legislation or even use or demonstration of force, what I fear the most is the apathy in the face of our own alienation, our lack of commitment as a society is sickening.
I think what people fear the most is life itself, the fact that it can not always be planned in advance. We have accustomed ourselves to our cages and this is what is so powerful. It doesn't even have to have walls. It has everything one needs.
Basically, a one-world government will be our feel-good global prison (for those who can afford well-being) and every person who disagrees with the ways of the world, those who participate in the renewal of the world will be deemed a terrorist, but that is what the people want don't they?
I prefer to live in an unstable world where I could be exposed to life and death than have to go along with the armies of couch zombies, consuming existence through online catalogs, dreaming of shiny rims for their cars, taking photos of themselves in postures they studied carefully in their teen mags, rating hairstyles and sipping energy drink to get through their ipod-rush.
They say life is hard, I say it's painful to watch.
