Blacks kill whites



LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A television anchorwoman killed in her home, had been sexually assaulted and beaten so badly in a suspected burglary, that her jaw shattered and she broke a hand while trying to fend off her attacker's blows.



Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, was arrested Monday, Vance has been assigned three public defenders, who began talking with him Monday afternoon. He remains in jail without bond, and has yet to enter a plea in the Pressly slaying, in addition, he faces rape and residential burglary charges in Marianna, about 90 miles east, Detective Sgt. Carl McCree said.

Police worked for weeks without a named suspect in the Pressly slaying until DNA collected at Pressly's home matched a sample from an unsolved April rape in Marianna. Authorities there suggested officers investigate Vance, a suspect in several burglaries.

Vance denied his involvement in Pressly's slaying and allowed a DNA sample to be tested, police said. The DNA matched evidence taken from her home, and investigators now say they've solved her case "with all scientific certainty. McCree has said Vance became a suspect in the burglaries there after his girlfriend sold allegedly stolen items to a pawn shop, though none of Pressly's possessions turned up.

Patti Cannady said she found her daughter in bed, bloody and beaten, after she didn't answer a wake-up call. She said every bone in her daughter's face had been broken. Her jaw was pulverized so badly that the bone had come out of it, Cannady said, I actually thought that her throat had been cut.

Her entire skull had numerous fractures, from which she suffered a massive stroke.

Three blacks who filmed themselves gang raping a 16 year old girl before dousing her in caustic soda, were today were today locked up for a total of 23 years. The girl, with a mental age of eight, screamed in pain as she was disfigured for life. They later laughed while using their mobile phones to record her suffering on the first floor of an empty house undergoing renovation.

Her attackers were among a gang up to ten, who had hoped the powerful corrosive would destroy forensic evidence.

As she writhed in agony, they poured water on her, intensifying the burning.
The alarm was raised by a neighbour, who heard her "frantic" cries and found her covered with raw patches on her face and body.

Passing sentence, Judge Shaun Lyons said: "The most severe injuries and consequences came from the caustic soda. The victim has been left with severe post traumatic stress disorder and many, many physical difficulties. He added: "It is doubtful what form her life will take and whether she can operate fully as a young woman in the future."

The judge said she will face bouts of severe depression, flash backs and suicidal thoughts.

The court heard that more than half her body was badly burned in the attack and doctors feared she might die. A year on from the attack, she still faces further surgery and continues to undergo counselling.

In the dock were Jamaican-born Rogel McMorris, 18, of Antill Road, Tottenham, north London, who was jailed for nine years after being convicted last month of two rape counts and one of causing grievous bodily harm. Co-defendants Jason Brew, 19, of High Cross Road, Haringey, north London, and 20-year-old Angolan immigrant Hector Muaimba, of Guildford Road, Waltham Forest, E17, were both found guilty of one charge of rape.

The each got six years for attacking the girl, although a further two years was added to Muaimba's sentence for a separate Old Bailey conviction for robbery.





Jennifer Ross was shot on December 24, 2005, at 3:00 am, she had gone out with friends on Friday evening, December 23rd, to a formal dance, and they were returning home in the early hours of the morning. She was walking with three friends across Orleans Square when they were approached by blacks.

One of the attackers hit her friend, Brett Findley, 19, with a pistol and another tried to take Ross' purse, the whites fought and shots were fired, one bullet struck Jennifer in her lower back, she was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center where she underwent surgery, and died on Sunday, January 1, 2006, nine days after the incident.

Ross was a sophomore at Mercer University, and a graduate of Savannah Country Day School.

The suspects were described as three black males wearing dark clothing, with hoods over their heads.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — A Georgia man gave the middle finger to a judge who sentenced him to life in prison plus 40 years Saturday for the shooting death of a Savannah debutante during a botched robbery. Michael Thorpe, 26, gestured and shouted "F--- democracy!" as deputies led him from the courtroom where Chatham County Superior Court Judge Penny Haas Freeseman sentenced him for shooting Jennifer Ross on Christmas Eve 2005.

Thorpe's co-defendant, Kevin Huckabee, 21, also shouted and cursed after Freeseman sentenced him to life in prison plus 30 years as a party to the crime for driving the getaway car. Co-defendant Webster Wilson, 25, simply glanced at his mother after he was also sentenced to life in prison plus 40 years as a party to the crime.

Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife Quiana, were found bound and gagged in the ransacked house, each had been shot in the head. Pietrzak was the suspects' sergeant at Camp Pendleton.

Investigators said the motive for murder was financial gain, the suspects were tied to the crime by items found in their homes and on the military base.

A mechanic who worked on helicopters, Pietrzak, 24, met his wife three years ago at a party for Marines being deployed to Iraq, Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak 26, worked for the county's Black Infant Care Center, they were married in August 2008.

On Oct. 15, deputies were dispatched to the Pietrzak home in Winchester, an exurb of San Diego, when the Marine did not show up for work. When they arrived, the deputies found the Pietrzaks in the living room and evidence that the robbers had tried to cover their tracks by torching the house.



Charged with murder and other crimes are Pvt. Emrys John, 18, of Maryland; Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller, 20, of North Carolina; Pvt. Kevin Darnell Cox, 20, of Tennessee, and Pvt. Kesuan Sykes, 21, of California.

15-year-old Topeka girl Nacole Winter, a student at Hope Street Academy, was stomped to death, a coroner testified during the preliminary hearing of Christopher Dwayne Hall, 25, who was bound over for trial on felony charges of first-degree murder and aggravated indecent liberties with a child 14 to 16 years old and certified for trial on a misdemeanor count of desecration of a corpse.

County coroner Erik Mitchell said Winter died of blunt force injuries. An autopsy showed she suffered a hairline skull fracture, a fractured neck, bruises on the scalp and bruises on the chest, bruising across the front of Winter's neck was "consistent" with ligature strangulation, Mitchell said. A fractured vertebra above the base of the neck was caused by a "very hard blow," most likely by a kick or a stomp, Mitchell said. Bruising about 3 or 4 inches wide on the teenager's chest wall likely was caused by a stomp, the coroner said.



Michael Hall, 27, and Anthony Hall, 28, who are brothers of the defendant, said Christopher Hall recruited them several days before Dec. 14 to help dispose of the body. Testing of material recovered on vaginal swabs showed Michael Hall had sex with Winter at some point before she was slain, a written stipulation signed by prosecution and defense attorneys said. Michael Hall said his brother showed him Winter's body when it was wrapped in a tarp and lying in a trash can in a basement storage and laundry area at Fairlawn Greens Apartments, 5237 S.W. 20th Terrace, where the three men lived.

At one point, Christopher Hall was showing the body to Michael Hall when they "dumped her out," Michael Hall said. Christopher Hall said he killed her after he and Winter were smoking in his apartment, there was an altercation, and she tried to leave, Michael Hall testified. Michael Hall said his brother told him he first used his hands to strangle Winter, he noticed she wasn't dead, and he put a cord around neck and strangled her," Michael Hall said.

Anthony Hall testified Christopher Hall told him he strangled Winter when she tried to scream, seconds before his girlfriend, Sonya Vines, arrived home, Christopher Hall put Winter's body in a closet in the couple's apartment.



Christopher Hall first considered disposing of Winter's body in a trash can at the apartment complex, but decided against that, Michael Hall said the three brothers put her body in the trunk of Vines' car, stopped at a convenience store to buy gasoline and a gas container, and drove to an open field in the 4100 block of S.E. East Edge Road in the Lake Shawnee area about 9 or 10 p.m. at night.

Once there, Christopher and Anthony Hall unloaded the body, gasoline was poured on the corpse, and Christopher Hall lit the fire, Michael Hall and Anthony Hall testified. Winter's body was found two days to a week later, Michael Hall said.
