President Barack Obama signed expanded hate crimes legislation into law Wednesday October 28, drawing praise from his attorney general and a tearful response from Judy Shepard, the mother of Matthew Shepard, a 21 year old Wyoming college student who was killed in 1998 because he was gay.
“After more than a decade of opposition and delay, we’ve passed inclusive hate crimes legislation to help protect our citizens from violence based on what they look like, who they love, how they pray or who they are,” Obama said at an East Room signing ceremony for the legislation, which was part of the 2010 defense appropriations bill.
Obama also lauded the work that the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), whose widow and children were in the audience, did over the years on the hate crimes legislation. As she left the ceremony, Vicki Kennedy said of her late husband: “I imagine that he’s smiling.”
Attorney General Eric Holder called the new law “the next great civil rights bill.”

Arlen Specter
He shared the podium in the US Senate Chamber with Arlen Specter who wrote the Warren Report, which blamed an innocent man for the death of his brother John, gunned down in broad daylight in Dallas Texas November 22 1963, while President of the United States.
For the fact that it was a CIA operation appeared to bother him not at all, nor did the equally brutal slaying of his other brother Robert, a fellow US Senator shot to death in Los Angeles in 1968, while on the hustings in his bid to become President, whose killer likewise remained unpublicized and unpunished, while a similarly innocent man was prosecuted for his murder!
As well he turned away from hard evidence that 911 was an inside job, perpetrated by dual US / Israeli citizens who have infiltrated the US social, defense and political infrastructure, Michael Chertoff head of Homeland Security comes to mind, and American traitors, many of whom are similarly in prominent positions in public life.
Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton was another with whom Kennedy shared the Senate Chamber, the Mena Arkansas revelations that expose her and husband Bill's murderous chicanery, are the tip of an iceberg of malfeasance and calumny, that remain a grotesque testament to the failure of the American political and judicial process.
A failure made more intense by the appearance of this amoral woman, who holds the position of United States Secretary of State, in situ in Pakistan in the midst of a devastating bombing campaign, that only fools believe is carried out by any other than the US and its proxies.
Edward Kennedy never lifted a finger, nor uttered one syllable to the common good in relation to any of these matters, nor regarding the Franklin Credit Union Case, that exposes the Bush dynasty as outrageous "boy lovers," with links to "snuff" movies and human sacrifice!
Edward Kennedy should be in no position to be smiling, scriptural testament asserts that those who remain silent in the face of a moral imperative to speak up, are destined for Hell, where smiles are reserved for the devils and demons whose role is to torment, and to maintain a level of suffering commensurate with the deeds and omissions of the residents therein!
