Surely after firing mortar rounds against a US military target, the tactical imperative is to get moving because the Radar Locating Battery, which provides US gunners with a twelve figure grid reference of the location from whence the mortars were fired, will see to it that a return artillery strike happens just as quick as can be!

It is called hit and run tactics, and is a highly effective method of warfare which in no way breaches the Geneva Convention, and which causes no civilian casualties, and like it or not the US led forces in Iraq are a legitimate target for Iraqi freedom fighters.
